• Captain Hammer, the hunky narcissist, poses like the all-American hero he self-worships. He's also the bad doctor's archenemy. 
• Penny, idealistic do-gooder, stands amid a swirl of laundry, holding a clipboard for signatures in support of the Caring Hands Homeless Shelter. She is the love interest of both the evil doctor and the self-aggrandizing hero.
• Bad Horse, the leader of the Evil League of Evil, is the Thoroughbred of Sin. He requires that a heinous crime be committed in order for Dr. Horrible to be inducted into the league. Hear him whinny!
