Cool, collected and so darned logical! He possesses curiosity and skepticism, layered with a sense of wonder. His human-Vulcan heritage makes him prone to internal conflict -- those pesky emotions Vulcans just aren't supposed to have.

Yet it's when Spock's emotions and his deep affection for Captain James T. Kirk surface that we love him the most. "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few," he tells Kirk. "You are my superior officer. You are also my friend. I have been and always shall be yours."
